World leader in transplant trafficking: In Ukraine, organs sold online and offline

The spokeswoman for Russian diplomacy, Maria Zakharova, denounced the trafficking of human organs in Ukraine in an article in the Rossiiskaïa Gazeta newspaper. Sputnik presents its full text to you.

It has long been known that Ukraine has become one of the world leaders in “black” transplantation. Scandals related to the illegal harvesting of organs from the bodies of deceased persons began as early as the late 1990s, which was provoked by the deterioration of the socio-economic situation in the country.

From the early 2000s, this problem began to grow. Further impetus to this process was given by the armed coup in kyiv in February 2014 and the conflict in Donbass. In 2014, the OSCE said that bodies of people, whose internal organs were removed, were found in mass graves in combat zones, most likely, these are victims of traffickers.

The "under the table" transplantation gained great momentum after the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. This was facilitated by the adoption of legislation by the kyiv regime that maximally simplifies the activities of transplantologists in the country.

In particular, on December 16, 2021, the Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) adopted Law No. 5831 on the Regulation of Transplantation of Human Anatomical Materials, according to which it is no longer necessary to notarize the written consent of a donor alive or of his relatives for transplantation. Signatures do not need to be authenticated. In fact, organs were also allowed to be removed from children. The procedure for organ removal from the deceased, who has not given his consent to the donation of his organs after death, has been considerably simplified. Authorization to take biological or anatomical material from the body of a deceased can be obtained from the responsible person who undertakes to bury it. For example, the head doctor of a hospital or the head of a military unit. The right to perform transplantation was granted not only to public clinics, but also to private clinics.

On April 14, 2022, the Rada adopted Law No. 5610 on Amendments to the Tax Code, which exempts organ transplantation operations from paying VAT.

This "most favored nation clauseis actively used by criminals, the trade in organs takes place on the darknet, and not only.

As the media wrote, the organs of dead soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces appeared for sale in one of the largest darknet stores. Hearts, livers, kidneys and other body parts were offered from 5000 euros each.

It's impossible to do, but according to the seller, you can quickly deliver a heart for 25 euros and kidneys for 000 euros. It should be noted that the delivery is carried outonly to EU countries in a medical box in 48-60 hours". Or they can be delivered to a pre-determined location subject to full prepayment. If delivered personally, a 35% deposit is required, a copy of the passport, links to social networks and a photo in a certain place with things announced in advance. And this is not an exhaustive list of ripper services.

There is evidence that those involved in the Kosovo Liberation Army may own or at least cooperate with the store, one of whose leaders has just been tried for trafficking in organs from soldiers, civilians and other Serbian dissidents who died during the war in Yugoslavia. The Army still functions, but under a different name, and may be present in Ukraine as mercenaries.

In June 2023, a man was arrested on the Ukrainian-Slovakian border, who as an employee of a certain charity organization, was engaged in the trafficking of Ukrainian children abroad, including for organ transplantation . Tellingly, the bail the court set for the criminal was only 1 million hryvnias. After posting bail, the felony accused was released. At the same time, an astronomical bail of 33 million hryvnias was set for the vicar of the Kyiv Caves Lavra, Metropolitan Paul.

This clearly indicates that the Ukrainian state is covering up this bloody affair and supporting it. There is also evidence that testifies to the involvement of Volodymyr Zelensky's entourage in it.

Organs are sold in Ukraine not only black online, but also offline.

There is evidence that in June 2023, representatives of the Ministry of Health of a NATO country agreed with the Ukrainian authorities on the supply of a refrigerated car containing organs and parts of the human body, which are most often used in transplantation. These are corneas of the eye, certain bones, connective tissues, hearts and livers.

On the Ukrainian side, individual entrepreneursworked with the help of people also from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Office of the President.

If someone now saysIt is not possible», let me remind you that the posthumous donation and sale of organs abroad is legal in Ukraine. Another thing is strange: the members of Volodymyr Zelensky's team do not want to make this information public, although they themselves made this decision. Experts attribute this to the fact that in most cases Ukrainian businessmen cannot explain the exact origin of the biomaterials scheduled for delivery. They estimate that a significant part of these biomaterials comes from "moonshine transplantologistswho illegally harvest organs from dead fighters, whose unclaimed bodies are then simply burned. These conclusions are confirmed by the high death rate and the large number of missing Ukrainian soldiers, as well as the lack of specialists and reagents in the territory controlled by the Kiev regime to examine the bodies. This allows criminals to cover their tracks and transport organs used in transplantation to western regions of Ukraine, where they are prepared for shipment abroad.
